Ghost Hipster — Returning to the Blogsphere

Portrait of Komang Artha Yasa — technology leader, two decades building digital platforms across marketplaces, retail, logistics, fintech, and banking.

Three years since the last post here. The last few months were the kind of hectic that turns projects into a mess and your forehead into a thing you bang against walls. Somewhere in the middle of that I started writing again, mostly for myself.

I spent a few weekends evaluating where to land. Tried writing my own engine, tested a handful of others, then circled back to Ghost — simple, opinionated, attractive. Big thanks to Oswaldo Acauan for Ghostium; this site uses a lightly-modified version.

The deeper reason for the move is that I’ve been living inside the MEAN stack on a few client projects, and at some point the cost of staying on WordPress for a personal site I rarely touch stopped making sense.

The actual challenge isn’t the platform. It’s the discipline. I’m going to try to write once a week and see what survives.

Ghost Hipster, then.
